Welcome!

Welcome to Starlet English Springer Spaniels

Located just outside of Salem, Oregon.

Starlet beginnings:
My first English Springer Spaniel was a female we acquired and renamed Raisin, back in 1991. When we met Raisin she was on a large chain, strapped to the porch, and untrained. When she not chained up, she was roaming the neighborhood she lived in, and ended up having a litter of mixed puppies that her owners gave away. Fortunately for Raisin, she was just adopted to a home with a very eager little girl who was determined to obedience train her in dog 4-H, and teach her how to do fun tricks. Raisin and I were always together after school, and during most summer days. Not only did she turn into a phenomenal, award winning obedience dog, she was my best friend, and learned many tricks! We paired Raisin with a handsome male named Rocky in 1993, who we later ended up getting to bring home and keep. Those two Springers, and their puppies meant so much to me and brought so many unforgettable memories.

My mission now is to preserve our breed that I/we love so much by reputably breeding classic bench AKC English Springer Spaniels. We breed structurally correct, health tested dogs with sweet temperaments. These Springers can excel in the show ring, but most importantly will win the hearts of their owners (& especially children) at home, who will cherish them. We use genetic and OFA testing on our breeding dogs.

We were fortunate to be able to move out of our home in Salem and purchase nearly 5 acres where our dogs get to enjoy open fields and large fenced yards. They are familiar with our horses and the neighbor's donkeys & barn cats.

We raise our puppies with fundamentals to go out and be confident in whichever direction they are taken.
They excel in therapy, 4-H, AKC events, or as loving family companions.

We love our Springers and hope to welcome you to the Starlet family!

This is me and my very first two Springers, Hilray's Rocky Tu "Rocky", and Jenna's Speckled Raisin "Raisin"
